Team Radiant

At Radiant, we have a desire to see people utilize their gifts for God’s purpose! So, whether your gifting is a welcoming smile, brewing hot coffee, or raising up the next generation, there is a place for you!

QUALIFICATIONS OF VOLUNTEER & LEADERSHIP COMMITMENT OF A TEAM RADIANT MEMBER:

“The same goes for those who want to be servants in the church: serious, not deceitful, not too free with the bottle, not in it for what they can get out of it. They must be reverent before the mystery of the faith, not using their position to try to run things. Let them prove themselves first. If they show they can do it, take them on. No exceptions are to be made for women—same qualifications: serious, dependable, not sharp-tongued, not overfond of wine. Servants in the church are to be committed to their spouses, attentive to their own children, and diligent in looking after their own affairs. Those who do this servant work will come to be highly respected, a real credit to this Jesus-faith.” 1 Timothy 3:8-13 (The Message)

TEAM RADIANT HONOR CODE
As an essential part of the Radiant Church family, you have a responsibility to develop and exhibit mature Christian behavior. This should be the basic premise of your desire to participate in a servant-leader position here at Radiant Church.
While serving the Body of Christ as a servant-leader at Radiant Church, you pledge to present a good appearance at all times. In both attire and behavior, you should strive to demonstrate Biblical standards in all situations.

As Christians, the way we present ourselves to others is of vital importance to the way others perceive Christ. Our conduct should never be an embarrassment to Christ but should exemplify the best qualities of a mature believer and servant-leader. Exemplifying the highest moral commitment, Radiant Church’s leaders are to maintain a disciplined life of Bible reading, prayer, and fasting. You must also refrain from such things as profanity, indulging in much wine or other alcoholic beverages, dishonest gain, illegal drugs, pornography, and sexual immorality, (Radiant Church defines sexual immorality as any sexual acts/behavior outside of a marriage covenant between a biological male and biological female.) all behaviors which might cause Christ to grieve and others to stumble. By providing an example in speech and action, we encourage others to grow in Christ and become servant-leaders. This is a way of life measured by the heart and commitment of each leader in the Radiant Church family. We should regard it as an essential part of our development, not as an imposition or restriction.

As devoted followers of Christ, we are in alignment with critical biblical beliefs as follows;

The virgin birth and deity of Jesus Christ.
That Jesus is God’s Son and only sacrifice for sin.
That Jesus rose bodily from the dead.
That a person must be born again to receive eternal life.
In the infallibility of the Holy Bible.

A TEAM RADIANT PARTNER
Is sincere, worthy of respect, and has a good reputation.
Has a genuine desire to serve and minister to other people. Leads, motivates and teaches other people. Creates positive group dynamics and resolves conflict within the group.

To become a part of Team Radiant.
To fulfill the mission, vision and purpose of Radiant Church.
To fulfill the responsibilities as outlined in training or orientation.
To abide by the Leadership Honor Code as outlined above in 1 Timothy 3.

EARLY CHILDHOOD
For ages 2 years to kindergarten. Children in this age group enjoy experience play, a lesson that teaches age-appropriate Biblical truths, and a time of interactive praise and worship. The monthly memory verse engages kids to hide God’s Word in their hearts. After a simple snack and story, children depart with ideas for continued learning at home.

ELEMENTARY
For 1st-4th graders. children experience a purposeful and fun worship service. They strengthen friendships with leaders and other kids through play. Together, we connect with God in worship, praising Him through music, dance, giving, and prayer. In every service, kids receive Biblical truth with life application, putting God’s Word to work in their lives today, while also laying a firm foundation for the future.

CHECK-IN
This team welcomes all families as they arrive and is often the first contact for first-time guests. This team utilizes a computer system to print name tags for new children and walks families through self-check-in stations to print their own tags.
